“They were very professional, on time, and followed up with everything. Everyone in the office was polite and the customer service was excellent. They have very skilled craftsmen and a designer on staff with great attention to detail. My project was done on time, within budget, and the quality of their work is outstanding. A very important side note was that the crew kept everything clean during the project. The end result looks fantastic and I have a beautiful, high-end kitchen.”

Wildfire Shield in Los Angeles
Wildfire defence designed into the build, with licensed specialists coordinated under one contract.
Free ConsultationIn the San Fernando Valley, wildfire defence means two different things at once. There is the interior system the code requires in new residential construction, and there is the exterior question of what happens when embers arrive ahead of a fire.
Most projects address the first because they must, and the second not at all. Both are worth designing in from the start, and both are far cheaper as part of a build than as a retrofit.

How it works
Our process
-
Requirement and exposure review
What the code requires, and separately what your parcel's wildfire exposure suggests. Those are two different questions.
-
Design coordination
The licensed designer works to our drawings, so device and pipe locations are resolved before framing.
-
Permitting
The fire safety scope submitted with the building permit rather than chasing it afterwards.
-
Installation
Licensed fire protection contractors perform the regulated work; we sequence them against framing, mechanical and finishes, and carry the construction scope.
-
Inspection and handover
Testing, sign-off and documentation as part of close-out.

What this means in Los Angeles
Embers, not flame front, are what ignite most homes lost to wildfire. That is why the highest-value work on a Valley parcel is usually construction rather than equipment: Class A roof assemblies, ember-resistant vents, enclosed eaves, and clean detailing where roof meets wall. Those are things we build ourselves, and they matter more than any single device.
Exterior wetting and perimeter systems are a genuine option on exposed parcels, but they live or die on water. Supply, pressure and - critically - whether they work when mains pressure drops or the power is out are the questions to settle before specifying anything. On-site storage and independent pumping change the cost picture substantially, and they deserve an honest conversation rather than an optimistic one.
Public safety power shutoffs tie the whole thing together. A detection and monitoring system that depends on grid power and broadband is least available exactly when risk is highest. If you are already considering battery storage for solar, the two conversations belong together.
Questions
Frequently asked
Do you install the systems yourselves?
No. Fire sprinkler, suppression and alarm work is a separate licence class in California and is carried out by licensed fire protection contractors. We design it into the project, coordinate those specialists with every other trade, and carry the construction scope - rated assemblies, ember-resistant detailing, firestopping - ourselves.
Will an exterior sprinkler system save my house?
It can help, and it is not a guarantee - anyone who tells you otherwise is selling. Its usefulness depends on water supply and pressure holding up during an event, which is precisely when both are least reliable. On most parcels, ember-resistant construction and good defensible space do more per dollar. We will tell you where your money goes furthest.
Do new homes in California need interior sprinklers?
New residential construction generally does, and the requirement can extend to substantial remodels depending on scope. We establish what applies to your project before design, because it affects ceiling layouts and service routing.
