“They were very professional, on time, and followed up with everything. Everyone in the office was polite and the customer service was excellent. They have very skilled craftsmen and a designer on staff with great attention to detail. My project was done on time, within budget, and the quality of their work is outstanding. A very important side note was that the crew kept everything clean during the project. The end result looks fantastic and I have a beautiful, high-end kitchen.”

Bathroom Remodeling in Woodland Hills
Primary suites and guest baths, waterproofed properly and built for California water requirements.
Free ConsultationA bathroom is a waterproofing project with tile on top. Everything that makes one beautiful - large-format stone, curbless entries, niches, benches - also makes it more demanding to seal correctly.
In Valley housing there is a second layer: what is behind the tile. Original galvanised supply lines and cast iron waste are common in this stock, and a bathroom is the one moment those are cheap to replace.

How it works
Our process
-
Design and selections
Layout, fixtures, tile and stone confirmed before demolition, with drainage positions resolved on paper first.
-
Demolition and rough-in
Back to structure, then plumbing and electrical relocated and inspected before anything is closed.
-
Waterproofing
Substrate, slope, membrane and flood test, completed and verified before a single tile is set.
-
Tile and stone
Dry-set first so cuts and veining fall deliberately.
-
Fit-out
Vanities, fixtures, glass, lighting and snagging.

What this means in Woodland Hills
California sets maximum flow rates for fixtures, and remodels are where those requirements land. It is rarely a limitation in practice - current low-flow showerheads and valves perform well - but it does mean specifying compliant products rather than whatever a showroom has in stock.
The plumbing behind the wall is the real Valley issue. Galvanised supply piping corrodes from the inside and shows up as poor pressure and rust-tinted water; cast iron waste lines scale and crack. If either is present, replacing it while the wall is open costs a fraction of revisiting it through finished tile later.
Ventilation matters less here than in a humid climate, but it still matters more than people think - an interior bathroom without adequate extraction will find the weak point in any waterproofing. And in seismic country, heavy stone and glass want correct substrate and fixing rather than optimism.
Questions
Frequently asked
Can you build a curbless shower?
Yes. It needs slope and drainage designed into the floor structure, which on a slab may mean recessing the pour or using a linear drain. Very doable when planned from the start.
Should I replace the plumbing while you are in there?
If it is galvanised or cast iron, we recommend it. The walls are already open, and doing it later means opening them again.
How do you guarantee it will not leak?
By treating waterproofing as its own stage: correct substrate and slope, a tested membrane assembly installed to specification, and a flood test before tile.
