    We locate where the main line enters - often a garage or exterior wall here - and confirm pipe diameter, clearance, power and Wi-Fi coverage.

  2. Isolation and cut-in

    Water isolated at the main and a section of pipe removed so the unit fits in line, downstream of the meter and regulator.

  3. Installation

    Unit fitted, connections pressure-tested, supply restored and every joint checked.

  4. Commissioning

Does it work if the Wi-Fi drops?

Yes. Wi-Fi is needed for alerts and full functionality, and the unit runs on 2.4 GHz. If the connection goes down, Moen state it stores recent learnings locally and keeps protecting the property until Wi-Fi returns.

Will it help with a slab leak?

It is one of the strongest reasons to fit one here. A slab leak is exactly the kind of slow, hidden loss the daily microleak test is designed to catch, and catching it early is the difference between a repair and a rebuild.
